Magical Moments at a Harry-Potter-Inspired Boho Barn Wedding

Hey there, boho brides-to-be! I captured some beautiful moments at Victoria and Nathan's barn wedding. The Faul Family Riverside Farm in Sulphur, KY, was the perfect setting for this intimate and heartfelt celebration. I'm so glad I got to be the one behind the camera.

The wedding colors were jewel tones, reflected in the bridesmaids' attire and groomsmen, who were all in mismatched jewel-tone dresses and suits. The florals were wooden flowers crafted by the bride herself and added to the unique and personal touch of the wedding. The bride also made all of the details and tablescapes herself, which added to the charm of the wedding. The couple even had food trucks for appetizers and dinner, which was a hit among the guests. The ceremony was held at sunset, which made for some breathtaking photos.

One of the highlights of the wedding was the surprise for the bride. She is a big Buffalo Bills fan because she's from New York. So many of her New York friends were there with a Bills flag to surprise her, which was a great touch and made for some unique and memorable photos.

When I first met with the couple, they told me they wanted their photos to capture the big moments and the little details that made their day special. And that's precisely what I did. From the sweet first look with the bride's father and the emotional first look with the groom to all the candid shots of the couple and their loved ones laughing and having a blast, every photo tells a story.

One of the things that stood out to me at this wedding was the sense of closeness and connection between everyone there. Clearly, Victoria and Nathan were surrounded by people who truly loved and cared for them. I loved capturing all the sweet moments between them.

The decor of the wedding was inspired by Harry Potter, and it was so moody and magical! The twinkle lights added so much to the atmosphere. The fun little details, like the flying keys wall with the guests' names for their seats and the little chocolates on the tables that looked like winged golden snitches, added to the charm. The couple truly put a lot of thought and effort into making the day unique for themselves and their guests.

When I asked the couple what the most essential aspect of their day was, they said it was all about sharing their love and gratitude with everyone who came to celebrate with them. And when I asked them what their favorite five shots from the day were, they picked the first looks, first kiss, family photos, a golden hour sunset photo, and the first dance with all the white lights in the barn. Oh, and let's not forget Molly Waffles, their cute pup, who made a special appearance in many photos!

These photos will give you some inspiration for your own barn wedding. Whether you're a boho bride, a fan of twinkle lights, or just love the idea of a field wedding, I hope these photos show you that the little details and candid moments make your day truly special.

Thank you to Victoria and Nathan for letting me be a part of their special day. It was an honor to capture all these beautiful moments for them.
